For mobile clients

A message group for mobile clients represents an independent logical unit. It encapsulates messages and settings independently from other message groups.

Depending on the installation structure one or more message groups may be set up.

Message groups allow each business segment (e.g. factory A and factory B or administration and production) to receive messages independently. Each message group provides independently information to registered IBI-aws MobileClients. 

Set up

Before a mobile client may register to a message group for mobile clients, such a message group has to be set up.

To achieve this, the following steps are necessary:

  1. Create the message group

  2. Add at least one registration option
