Create/restore backup

Automatic backup

The IBI-aws Admin automatically creates a backup each time it is started and before the message database (Data.xml) is updated. This backup is written to the .bak folder.

Only the last 100 backups are kept.

Create backup

The File > Create Backup function allows users to create a backup of all content of IBI-aws Admin.

Restore backup

To restore a backup, the following points should be considered:

1. Make sure that the IBI-aws Admin is not being executed

2. Delete or rename the existing Data.xml

3. Rename the backup file to Data.xml

Tip

To keep the backup, copy the backup file and rename the copy.

Starting the IBI-aws Admin, all information from the backup is available again.
